Some thoughts after the jump...

•  Garrett Jones decided to show up to the game today, and hit his 1st HR of the season.
• Kevin Correia pitched a great game, giving up one run on only three hits in six innings.
• Have to think he just won himself a spot in the rotation when A.J. Burnett comes back.  James McDonald is the odd man out, IMO.
• Pedro Alvarez went 0-3 with two strikeouts.  Will he be headed to Indy anytime soon?  We'll see.
• Pirates have three more games out west, a series with the D-backs.  They're back home on Friday against the Cardinals.
• Lyle Overbay. Hahahaha.  20 bucks he gets the game-winning hit in a game this series.
